Wordle.net is a intriguing web application that turns text into “word clouds.” The program gives greater emphasis to words that appear more frequently in the text.You can play around with the color schemes and fonts and dribble away hours.
In the example to the left I entered the text from my January 23 post about John Thain . I love the result – it stands up on its own pretty well.
